Hydraulic Positioner
Large weldments are traditionally built on a flat table, often requiring the welder to crawl around the fixture to reach all the welds. By incorporating a hydraulic positioner, the welder can still setup the fixture and load the parts on a flat surface, but then can tilt and / or rotate the workpiece into an ergonomic-friendly position for welding. |
- A standard 6 ½’ x 13’ modular table is mounted to a hydraulic positioner
- The positioner can rotate 360° and tilt up to 90°
- Clamps with 300 – 2,000 pounds of force can be use to keep parts stable
- PC Bolts generate 6,000 lbs of clamping force keeping the blocks solid
