Whether the weldment is a simple flat frame or a large 3-dimensional mixing auger, the modular tooling system can be assembled to suit. With over 1,200 precision locating and clamping bores in the base tables, and matching bores in every system component, there are virtually an unlimited number of combinations of tooling configurations possible. Electric Highway Display
Open frame fixture designs allow welders full access inside the weldment without having to crawl on a solid worksurface. The U-form spacer blocks which make up the base table, come in a variety of lengths (2’ up to 14’) and can be joined together with precision clamping and locating bolts generating 6,000 lbs holding force each. A calibration laser can be used while adjusting the leveling pads for a perfectly flat base surface.
Nuclear Energy Plant
Reactor vessels, pumps, turbines and generators for nuclear power plants are generally heavy-duty in nature and require a rugged yet precise workholding system to manufacture. Our hardened tables are designed to support over 12,000 pounds each. Two tables joined together can support over 24,000 pounds of weight and still hold accuracies in the thousandths of an inch.
Windmill Base
Our hole pattern and tooling blocks are square, but with a little imagination and engineering ingenuity, a fixture of any size or shape can be designed and assembled. Our engineering team specializes in customizing solutions for both existing and prospective customers keeping both design criteria and budget in mind when proposing a fixture.
Drilling Rig Platform
The majority of our customers use their modular fixturing system for welding applications, but others have found that it is just as versatile as an assembly tool. The tables are extension blocks are flat and have hundreds of precision bores in which to add clamps and locators. As designs change, so too can the tooling by simply pulling the clamps and locators out of one hole and moving them to another.
