Hydraulic Tank
Accurate fit up of tanks that carry fluid of any type (hydraulic, oil, gas, water, etc.) is critical in order to get a good water-tight weld on all the joints.  When setting up the modular fixture, a tape measure is replaced with precision gauge blocks off of qualified faces of the machined angles for a perfect fit.

Instrument Rank
Manufacturers of server racks and electronic equipment cabinets benefit from an infinitely adjustable tooling system in order to maintain squareness and parallelism within spec.  Height, width and length of an electronic rack can vary greatly.  Using machined squares, stackable angles and outrigger blocks, this 40” x 80” table can be transformed into a 104” x 144” working surface in minutes.

Power Generator Platform
A combination of formed parts, angle iron, steel plates and channel are assembled here on a four foot by eight foot modular workbench to form a base for generator.  Even though larger workbenches are available (ex. 5’ x 10’, 6 ½’x 13’), this smaller 4’ x 8’ table with angles bolted off the sides as supports provides an economical solution without sacrificing quality.

Ski Lift
The track wheel bar for this chair lift cable support requires precise alignment of the roller wheels for a smooth, trouble-free operation on the mountain.  A single table (1000 x 2000mm) provides an accurate base to work with, but a pair of precision 1500mm extension blocks attached to the ends of the table is needed to handle the 4400mm length weldment.

Lift truck Cage
Simple fixtures, like this safety backstop for an electric hi-low are assembled by one person reading blueprints out on the shop floor.  Before the fixture is taken apart, a digital picture is taken to be stored away for future reference should the fixture have to be rebuilt at a later date.  Once the part is welded, the fixturing is disassembled and reused for the next job in the schedule.
